Black Educator Network

Help build a new professional community to connect, nurture, and advance Black educators in nature-based early childhood education. Facilitated by Ashley Causey Golden of Afrocentric Montessori, Dr. Deja Jones of Honeypot Montessori, and DD Johnice of Outdoor Afro, and with collaboration from Black educators and leaders across the United States, this gathering will help build a new network to welcome and support Black educators in bringing nature-based education to their programs and communities, and envisioning what we can do together to expand nature access for Black children and families. If you are Black educator or education professional and are practicing or interested in nature-based education, we welcome you to join us to help build this new professional network. There is no cost to register, but registration is required and space is limited.
