Imagine a World . . .
Imagine If we were part of national and international movements to bring nature into education, and to bring education into global strategies for change.
In this featured session, NAAEE Executive Director Judy Braus will share a national and global perspective on our collective work to build a global citizenry equipped to face the future with joy and confidence, starting right at home. We'll honor early childhood education policy pioneer Joan Lombardi, who served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Early Childhood Development at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and has championed the movement to link healthy child development to climate resilience. And finally, we'll learn about the launch of an exciting new national initiative to expand access to nature-based education and access to the outdoors as a human right for every child.
Together, these leaders and initiatives demonstrate that our movement starts with dedicated educators and families in communities, and links to national and international efforts that link us in a global network for change for every child.
This session will be held live in San Antonio and streamed live for online participants.
